Peer Support Coaches will relate to their peers having gone through similar experiences. Coaches are also more accessible to their clients/ peers (email, our text line and booking sessions). PSC’s can help along the recovery process with their clients by providing support, working on recovery goals and learning skills needed for recovery. Coaching does not replace therapy but rather supports it. We highly recommend our clients get connected with a trusted therapist if they feel the need to work on deeper issues.
